COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
OMER. traditional blond is made of excellent summer malted barley from the Loire region (France) and pure water. During the brewing process sugars are liberated that will serve later to nourish the yeast. During the cooking process 3 varieties of hops from Germany, Slovenia and the Czech Republic are added to give the beer the specific aroma and bitterness

Pours a bright golden yellow color with two fingers of white creamy head. The nose is of Belgian yeast, hints of citrus, bready notes and some grassy hops. The taste starts malty and bready with some yeast flavors. There is some grassy bitterness underlying the malt. Next comes a touch of alcohol sweetness that transitions into lightly sweet, malt and fades into a light bitterness that eventually turns dry and disappears.

New Beer Distributors, NY 33cl ($5): Pours blond with large fluffy white head. Aroma is yeast, non-descript fruitiness, bit ain’t too strong; you almost gotta strain to really make it out. Taste is really lightly bitter. Fruitiness present throughout, definitely in the aftertaste. Tastes like a conventional BSA, but arguably with less flavor. However, this makes it pretty dangerous drinkable.

Lovely beer. Golden with big foamy head that has good retention. Fruits and some hoppy floral notes in the nose. Malts are noticeable as well and some banana sweetness coming from the yeast. First impression: wow! Take a sip. Strong alcohol gives this beer a ’bite’. Some sour lemon taste. Spices, belgian yeast, malts and hoppy bitterness. Fruity alcoholic dry finish, leaving you to want more. This beer is a trip. Very skillfully brewed. Dare I say it? Better than a Duvel?

Really nice fruity blond beer, good alternative for a Duvel. One of my favourite ales for this summer.

Reasonable beer, strong blond ale, a less interesting version of Duvel, inoffensive but not worth seeking out.

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, vinous, yeast, fruity and floral. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a fruity and vinous finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft
