OMER. traditional blond is made of excellent summer malted barley from the Loire region (France) and pure water. During the brewing process sugars are liberated that will serve later to nourish the yeast. During the cooking process 3 varieties of hops from Germany, Slovenia and the Czech Republic are added to give the beer the specific aroma and bitterness

Bottled 0.7 L. Clear golden colored, slightly hazy when pouring the last part of the bottle, thick lasting white head, lots of carbonation. Fruity and flowery nose, some hops. Refreshing medium bitter flavor, some hops, little bit spicy. Medium bitter finish. Not a very complex brew, but very well balanced and dangerously drinkable. Good beer.

Goudgeel kleurig bier. Met een witte schuimkraag. Zoet van smaak met een licht bittertje. Gedronken op Bryan's verjaardag.

Bottle. In Omer glass. Pours like a Pilsner. Strong foam head. Looks beautiful: nice bubbling due to the carbonation, all around the glass. Aroma is distinct: hints of copper, cherry, hint of pine, refreshing malts, some yeast. Nice. Taste starts with a kick: quite sour and bitter, a little boozy even (but nice!). The beer tastes well-rounded: there is a refreshing tingling sensation in the first couple of seconds, a subtle build-up of sourness accompanied with alcohol midway that slowly turns into a bitter after taste. I would say this is very much like a Duvel, but a little different.

cloudy pale yellow colour, huge, white head; aroma of floral hops, hints of honey, yeasty notes, some alcohol and maybe bread; taste of malty sweetness, floral notes, yeast and alcohol; not too much hoppy bitterness; correct Belgian strong ale

UPDATED: JUL 16, 2014 Yellow colour, big white head in Omer’s beautiful glass. Aroma and taste are big on grainy and sweet malts and spicy yeasts. Good body, lively carbonation, nice bite.

Bottled, 33 cl. Opal yellow coloured one with a creamy and lasting white pillow on its top, which remains finger thick. Low-keyed fruity nose. Tasteing starts crisp followed by a mild citrus fruity aroma escorted by hints of apples, bread and bubblegum. Dry, spicy and somewhat warming aroma underpainted by lemon peel. An easy brew in a good sense.

Clear golden. Persistent white head. Fruity green bananas, dried tropical fruits and wine gum. Very fruity taste, well balanced with moderate bitterness. One of the better blonds.

11.2oz bottle 6/28/14 (Armanetti’s-Aurora)-50° in Trappist Glass-Pours yellow with a small white head and great big floaties. Aroma yeast, wheat, and hops. Taste of the same with a bit of malt on the back end. This light bodied brew is a bit weak.

Golden colour and a big dense head. Smell is yeasty, malt and a clear alcohol hint. Taste is yeasty too, bread crust, and again too much alcohol in the taste. Nothing special.
