Since it didn’t say anything than Bockr and tasted like a nice Belgian pils, then I assume this was the one. Just like in the picture it had a perfect golden colour and refreshing features with the fine touch of this country.
3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 DeanF (1484) - Iqaluit, Nunavut, CANADA - NOV 10, 2010
93/20 was the rating when I found this page.... yes, that means that even if this beer scores in the 93rd percentile of ALL pilsners, it only ranks in the 20th percentile of all beers! Oh, those poor pilsners.... are they all really that bad? C’mon, who doesn’t like a good pils once in awhile? This pours with a painfully clear yellow-green body and just a small bed of head on top. The aroma is bread, perfumy hops, wet malts. The taste has a nice mix of sourdough bread and hops, very smooth, good mouthfeel. Like drinking a fresh loaf of European bread. It’s good, for sure; does it beat some of the heavier brews? Sadly, not.
