Pours a dark brownish color with a light brownish head. Aroma filled with malt and candi-sugar and barley.
Taste comes with dark fruits (cherry, prunes or raisins) spices, possible cinamon and coriander.
Beer is very well balanced and really reminds us of the festive times of the end of the year during the cold season.
Beer gains a lot of lavors as it warms up, a little roasted towards the end. BoBoChamp (732), Gent, Belgium Aug 2, 2008 33cl, from Geers Oostakker, complex, balanced, clear, good head, good X-Mas brew, but not a topper
