Pours a light gold with a creamy white head, not much malt or hop aroma. Flavor is lightly malty with a firm bitterness. Body overall is pretty thin but the nitro helps that out. Overall needs more flavor.

Backlog. Can alc. 3.5%. Clear amber color, generous white creamy head, good retention; sweet malty aroma, a bit caramel/toffee; taste moderate sweet and slightly bitter; texture creamy, light body, low carbonation; light bitter somewhat watery finish.

Douberd (2337) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - MAY 25, 2014
Nitro can at home, 440 ml, into a big Guinness glass. ABV 3.5% Orange coloured beer with a crystal clear body, one finger of white head on top, thick and creamy. Very good retention, medium lacing left on the glass. Aroma is light fruity, with malts and obvious wheat. Quite nice smelling and deceiving as it turns out. The taste is of dirty malts, old grass, dried hay, not at all what the aroma made me expect. Everything on the taste seems old and past its prime, although the beer has a long way to go before it reaches its BB date. Light bitterness on the aftertaste that is not enough to leave positive impressions in any way. Thin body and totally flat, and to think this is a nitro can.. Overall it starts good but it’s all downhill from there, disappointing.

Belle bière blonde dorée avec une mousse crémeuse bien blanche. Une pointe d’amertume au palais mais une rondeur appréciable.

An everyday kind of drink, which you can buy at the supermarket for a very reasonable price, and drink quietly at home for an honest moment of enjoyment. Not the best beer in the world, but easily among the very realiable products among those turned out for the mass market.
