2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Beautiful looking beer once the nitro storm in the glass has died down after pouring from the can. Copper colour with no sign of carbonation but a thick white head with excelllent retention that leaves lashings of lacing. Aroma is gently sweet and vaguely hoppy. Palate is creamy yet watery. Flavour is pretty one dimensional and flat, with a weakly bitter edge. OK, but after finishing one Iím hardly dying for another.

Pint on tap at Glyntwrog Inn, Llanrug. No aroma, pale amber beer with small tight white head. Very watery with slight hop/ malt finish, uninspiring. I used to drink Boddingtons with my grandfather over thirty years ago, this is NOT the same beer.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Not a particuarily good brew, I hadnít had it and upon trying it I was disappointed. I found it to be bitter in a bad way, lacking a good balance of flavor, or even a pleasing flavor. Alas, all is not lost because I had it at legoland windsor resort only beer on draught

2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Can. Pours in clear amber body with very creamy white head, quick avalanche effect. Aroma has caramel, grainy, hay. Taste has grainy medium sweetness with low earthy bitterness, pretty odd hay after taste. Body is full, medium to low carbonation.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Can, pint. Clear pale amber color with medium creamy white head and soft visible carbonation. Aroma is mild malty, grassy and bready. Taste starts with smooth and moderate sweet malt with toffee and caramel following and mild bitter finish. Light body, creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Incredibly smooth, but boring, too...

part of 2014 backlog. Dull beer. with a golden colour and a thick creamy head, that killed any real aroma. taste was sweet, not the best.

I happen to like boddingtons. Smooth and sweet yet also light. Makes for a good session beer.

Drank as a draught. Not very interesting, slightly sweet taste, not really bitter. I was disappointed.

Without a doubt the cream of Manchester, and anywhere else; I just canít get enough of this nectar of the gods. to the extent that my friends are concerned about my behaviour. To my shame I had to travel to the home of this ambrosia rather than attend the Great British Beer Festival 2014. The first sip of this elixir always gives me such a stirring in the pants region that to describe it would mean banning me from this site. Drink it and never look back!!!

440ml can. Pours clear golden, thick foamy head - thanks widget! Aromas are light malt, not much else. Taste is sweet. No carbonation once the widget is spent. Foam head sits on top like an unwelcome marshmallow. Watery and thin. Not great.
