Nitro can. Orange with a dense off-white head. Honeyed fruity aroma. It’s still a little watery despite the nitro creaminess. Taste has honey, apricots and moderate finishing bitterness. The flavours aren’t terrible but it’s so lifeless and lacking in character that you wonder whether it’s been brewed at all.

Widget can. I used to like this one better a few years ago, but the last time I tried it, I found it way to thin. Not really anything wrong with the flavour though, and it has a nice creamy texture.

UPDATED: DEC 20, 2010 Consumed with Carrie, Jodi, Deante, Ella, John and Genie. Sweet aroma in the nose. Smells better than it tastes. Smooth, but odd woody aftertaste ruins the finish. Not great.

30.03.2004. 0,5l Can. This beer has a clean and straight aroma. Does not taste as much as expected. Refreshing, smooth and mild beer.

(CO2 Can) A creamy ale, always better on draft, than from the can. More of a session beer. I don’t think this brings too much flavor to the table.

Nice smooth pour with nitro. Dry and bitter with a nice bready mouth. Slightly bitter nose, smella like a pilsner. Pretty refreshing.

On Tap at Holy Grail -pours a creamy, retaining offwhite head. Color is copper with effervescence. Aroma is Slight malt. Taste is malt, cider. OK but it’s not my favorite, it is drinkable.

Pours superbly, thanks to the widget. Deep gold colour and cascading head, which will last for hours. Yes, it’s almost flat, though it’s supposed to be. Simplistic nose; Grain & fruity yeasts. Simplistic palate; Rich grain above subtle fruits. Subtle drying hops. On it’s own, frankly, it’s boring. However, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better non-intrusive food beer.

16 oz. can from Blueberry Hill. Pours a clear amber, darker at the top and lighter at the bottom, with a small, creamy off-white head that sticks around and laces the glass. Aroma of sweet, bready malts, cereal, yeast, and just a little bit of citrus, wood, and hops. Those come out a little more in the flavor, which is also balanced by bready malts, cereal, and yeast, with a slight metallic note. Light-medium bodied, with a mouthfeel that I would consider watery if not for the creamy head that gives it some texture. Soft carbonation. The notes are too muted and I’d like some more body under the head, but this is still a nice, sessionable beer.
