Pint can. I can’t believe I hadn’t gotten to this beer, it’s such a harbinger of a certain type of graduate students. Poured this into a plastic mug and got the full experience. Creamy dark golden, with lots of nitro-head. Flavors are sweet, general, and malty. I’d take more hops from my bitter and some more base malt complexity, but whatever, this is the most generic example of the style, but this can was fresh, super-drinkable, and reasonable, so I don’t mind.

Very good beer. Kinda light in flavor and color, but it has a great smoothness, and it just goes down really easy. Has the same texture as Guinness.

Dark golden with a creamy white head - malty aroma - nice malty taste along with some hop bitterness - ok beer

Pours out deep gold with Guinness-like carbonation, smells and tastes of a typical pale ale but the carbonation makes it so smooth it goes down like water. This is something you can pound on a hot day.

On tap at Jillian’s in SF. Clear, copper-yellow with a thick head that lasts until the last sip. Nothing noteworthy about this beer, but it did help wash down my burger.

Pours up nice and thick from a can, but lighter from a tap. Light aroma and a bit spicy.

Ah, the old English pint, makes me feel important, as if I was a part of history.

Interesting how this can materializes when poured into a glass. The head is also very distinguishable. After that it is all downhill. Just not much at all on the palate - and as for the taste - not bad, but heck I can’t taste anything! I’ll pass next time. give me a Bass pale ale anyday over this...creamy top with zero taste brew.

Clear amber, white head, some lacing. Notes of sweet malt and bitter hops. Taste is rather bland and mild.

Can. Poured a clear medium amber with a medium sized creamy head that was fully lasting and had excellent lacing. The aroma was very light with notes of sweet bread malts, grainy hops and a and a mild doughy yeast. It tasted mild an slightly bitter from start to finish with the flavor lasting quite a long time. Mouthfeel was watery yet very creamy in texture and light to medium in body. Overall I would have to say the CO-2 disc made all the difference (it rolled up the glass like a Guiness). Although it was very creamy it was a bit to light.
