golden color, aroma of earthy grains, grass, flavor of earthy light grain, light honey, not a lot of flavor, most pleasant is the creamy texture and easy drinkable

Can. A decent bitter, creamy head and nice colour, not that complex aroma though compared to others.

Light sweet malty aroma. Nice white head, clean and golden color, fun to watch these set up after a pour. Easy drinking and taste like it smells. I’m not getting much of the bitter. My wife and I have always liked getting these and it still taste good. Something to switch it up now and then. Very session able which I am a fan of.

Can into pint glass: very heady with reddish brown tint. Extremely bitter but tolerable and definitely sessionable.

Rated from notes taken 13 Sep 2013 -- It’s an English pub ale. Not really much else to say here. The nitro gives it a little bit of a sweeter flavor. I would like to try this on just CO2 instead of with nitro, I would be curious what it would taste like then.

Can from the lcbo. Thick creamy head, extremely opaque and without bubbles on top of a transparent amber/straw body. Notes of cereal and bread, some sweetness. Extremely oily, watery thin body- sessionable for sure. Some alcohol is present for some warmth.

"definitely prefer the can (or draft) to the bottle for this one. the flavors ok (sweet but kinda boring) either way, but the mouthfeel/smoothness/drinkability are all better draft style."

Pint glass served from the tap. A: Light amber color. One finger white and creamy bubbled head. Medium retention and few lacings S: Mild smell of caramel malts. Bit grassy hops T: Follows the nose. Sweet caramel malts followed by a light taste of hops. Mild bitter end. Traditional British ale M: Very light and watery body. Low carbonation. A little bit molasses. This beer has become my favorite beer. It has an unbelievable smoothness and head right from the can. After a hot days work the first 16 ounces goes down very quickly, There is a lingering aftertaste that is a minor drawback, but all considered..I am a Boddingtons man.
