A very nice beer that I can purchase at my local grocery store for a very reasonable price. I’m not a big fan of can beer, but it’s a good choice for going to the local pool club that doesn’t allow glass containers. I would say this is a rather average bitter beer (which I like) and I would never turn one down if offered.

Can with Nitro widget: Pours golden with plethora of tiny bubbles, clearing to a nice golden color with finely bubbled stable, white head. Aroma is mildly malty with spicy notes. Taste is grainy, moderately malty, with a strong spicy, bitter finish. Finishes dry but with lingering hop flavors.

Not so sure why this gets low scores, it is what it is, a decent Pub Ale. Tasty, lower ABV so I can maybe two and still get home without a DUI.

Can from Yamaya. Deep gold with creamy head. Somewhat spicy aroma, very subdued. Same with the flavour. Nothing really exciting, but a decent ale.

Cream of Manchester it used to say not anymore now they’ve moved brewing to Preston shame as it used quite iconic to Manchester only the chimney remains of the original brewery, fully intended to rate rate this lower but it looks good nice creamy head tastes goodish very easy drinking its never going to set the world alight but if your on knocking a few back these will sink down very quickly.

From a can with a nitro widget.

Appearance: When pouring it has this neat appearance where bubbles swirl all around the inside of the glass. I’m guessing it’s from the nitro widget. The body is transparent and amber with a thick creamy white head.

Aroma: There is a medium strength spicy hop aroma. It’s nice smelling.

Taste: Extremely watered down when it comes to flavor. It has this extremely mellow bread flavor and a very light herbal tea hop flavor, but it’s very light. It tastes like somebody mixed half a pint of ale with half a pint of water.

Mouthfeel: Well it is extremely drinkable, because it’s a lot like drinking water but much smoother. There is a very light bite from the hops.

Overall: Pass on this. It looks great, smells good, and is very drinkable...but it just doesn’t have any flavor at all! I won’t be buying this again.

Well my goodness, does this really deserve such a low score? Pours a beautiful, bright golden-amber with a golden-marshmallow super-fine nitro-head, 3/4-inch thick. Slow to fade. Aroma is lightly sweet grass, some hay, pleasant mineral notes. Hint of coconut milk. Body is medium-light-to-medium, oily-watery with a touch of grit. Carbonation is rather light, though, perhaps replicating the cask ale feel, very soft feel, like down, no pricks and minimal burn. Flavor is a semi-sweet grass-hay with that green coconut flavor, a touch of soap-mineral (but again, not unpleasant) A touch grass bitterness and dry multi-grain. As it warms, some light banana comes through in the aroma and flavor. I enjoy this; perhaps lacking some delicious flavor components, but it is somewhat interesting, somewhat complex, and certainly drinkable. I wish there was a bit more carbonation, though.

Pours deep coppery gold with a small white head. A very smooth taste with just a little bit of bitterness. A little bit on the sweet side, with a tinge of banana and hay. Overall, to me it was quite watery for a bitter. Smooth to drink, but left no impression.

Pours a clear dark straw/light copper topped by a finger of fizzy off-white head. Carbonation is decent, retention minimal and lacing is not present. The nose is grainy malts, some bread and cereal with a honey sweetness in the back. A faint grassy hops gets through. The taste is mostly malty and grainy with the same sweet and grassy features.Mouthfeel is acqueous from start to finish. Good drinkability but not very representative of the genre. Cheers!

Burk från SB. Bärnstenfärgad kropp med kraftigt tjock gräddig skumkrona. Doft av sött bröd, mandelkubb. Krämig söt kropp med lite bitter eftersmak. Smak av bröd, honung, mandel och brun malt.

Pint can. Pours a clear gold with a small white head. Aroma of malt and grain. Taste is malt, grain, fruit, and caramel. Nothing very exciting, but easy to drink.
