A personal favorite of mine. Honey colored with a thick vanilla head that settles nicely. Feels a bit flat but that’s the style. Very creamy and easy drinking.

Tap @freedom of the SEAS. NO2 foam feeling. Low carbonation. Quite clear. Fruity. Gentle. Fine bitterness. Classic ale

Pours golden with a tight creamy white head, which for me, is the allure. This is a great staple for when you just want a nice smooth creamy taste with hop subtly. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from the tap at the"World of Beer" in Pooler, GA. Not a fan of the taste and aroma. I did find the creamy texture comforting, but the flavor is the drag on this rating.

Pale yellow with forced head, carbonated. Thin tinny flavour despite the ABV, boiled grain flavour with mouthcoating sugariness.

Nitro can to shaker glass, poured clear light amber, classic nitro gas creamy white head, decent lacing and nice retention. Aroma is light earthy English hops (East Kent Goldings?) Taste is grassy sweet, slight floral bitterness. Light bodied, carbonation is typical nitro, creamy mouth feel. Finishes metallic. Nothing special but drinkable.

25th May 2015: shared a draught one with the wife in the Irvine Yard House. looked fine, golden with a full head of smooth foam. Creamy and smooth feel to the brew, but very little aroma or taste: some hops maybe but not much of anything. Only bought it for the rate to be honest: It is one of the most higly rated beers I had not drank until today. I do remember the original Boddingtons Bitter from Strangeways, Manchester, this is nothing like that old cask brew.
