1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20 Yard (45) - Senoia, Georgia, USA - JUN 5, 2006
White head with no lacing. Smells like green apples. Taste like green apple with no carbonation, malts, hops, but some water. Ha! Not that good.

This beer has weak aspects all around. Tastes like watered down you know what. The only nice thing about this beer is its smooth frothy head. I dont recomend this one.

This product tasted watered down and really didn’t make an impression on me. I’ll probably stay away from it from now on.

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2007 No aroma or flavor. It’s ’smooth’ as it’s on nitro, but there’s nothing here. An interesting way of hiding any sort of flavor.

Can. Golden colour with a creamy head. Quite tasteless beer. What to write, hmm. Watery.

Son apparence est peut-être bien, mais son goût est totalement amère. Pas fort, mais je ne goût rien d’autre et son arome est faible.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2007 This is the preferred brew of Onslow, one of my favorite brit com characters. I’ve passed this up many times at the beer store because it was in a 16 oz can and it was $3. However, during the review of the kinds of beers I’ve tasted, I became aware that I never tasted the ’bitter’ style yet. As soon as I found that out, I was off to the beer store to pick up that can. This is a 16 oz yellow can with a pop top. Nice can, barrel with bees on it. It says it has the draught flow device inside. That must be the plastic thing that was in there after I completed the pour into my steeler stein. Pop the top and start pouring, there are lots of fine bubbles that makes it look cloudy during the pour. Has a yeasty arome akin to many wheat beers I’ve tasted. The appearance is somewhat like your tyipcal american beer but it may be a little darker, something like a yuengling. Very creamy whitish head, makes me want to touch it. Once poured there is absolutely no carbonation in the glass. During the first taste, I detect no carbonation either. Its like flat beer that sat out overnight. Hey, I’ve tried to salvage one or two beers the next morning in my day, I know what they taste like! The flavor is not as bitter as I expected for something called a ’bitter’, but it is bitter. IPA and imp stouts are more bitter than this. The bitterness does cover the flavor of any quality enjoyable hops or malts that may be in there. This stuff is really flat, I don’t know what Onslow sees in this. I need at least a couple of tongue tingles to satisfy. It must be my upbringing on processed macro brews. Finish is a medium astringentness that lasts and lingers. Cannot appreciate this brew, probably will not buy again.

tap- not good at all. I enjoy a good bitter, but this came off like a watered down american light lager. Creamy head, super yellow pale body. No noticable aroma, barely any flavor.

I opened my first can of this stuff at the same time I opened a bud for the wife. I took one sip and tried to get her to swap beers. She took a sip and said it tasted like water. I took a sip of her Bud to confirm that it really was less flavorful than the Bud! The mouth feel is nil. Pathetic - unfortunate cuz I would like to find a decent beer in a can.
