From “Pub Draught” can. I guess this is supposed to be an example of an English “session beer,” but it doesn't really rock the american palate. The widget-type bubbler gave a good tall, cascading head (and this from a can that sat in my fridge for two years) that stayed with the beer and left a nice lace on the sides. Could not detect much aroma, which is better than smelling skunky, I guess. English pub style watery mouthfeel was uninspiring, and I couldn't pick up much taste, just a little residual sweetness. Nothing lingers much after the swallow. Nothing terrible, just not inspiring.
This is the same impression I got from the first can in the four-pack I got two years ago, so at least it keeps very well in the fridge.

Pours a clear dark straw/light copper topped by a finger of fizzy off-white head. Carbonation is decent, retention minimal and lacing is not present. The nose is grainy malts, some bread and cereal with a honey sweetness in the back. A faint grassy hops gets through. The taste is mostly malty and grainy with the same sweet and grassy features.Mouthfeel is acqueous from start to finish. Good drinkability but not very representative of the genre. Cheers!

Burk från SB. Bärnstenfärgad kropp med kraftigt tjock gräddig skumkrona. Doft av sött bröd, mandelkubb. Krämig söt kropp med lite bitter eftersmak. Smak av bröd, honung, mandel och brun malt.

Pint can. Pours a clear gold with a small white head. Aroma of malt and grain. Taste is malt, grain, fruit, and caramel. Nothing very exciting, but easy to drink.

Nitro draft from the Stag & Lion, San Diego. Absurdly dank creamy head that is the prize of the beer. Drinking the head is like eating the cream off of the top of high-quality yogurt.Very weak and mild flavor, but what is there is pleasant and wholesome - downright comforting. This is an exceptionally pleasant and drinkable beer. This is not a flavor-packed IPA or Imperial Stout, but if you want a beer you can comfortably drink and enjoy all day, here you are, this beer is king of its niche.

Golden orange with a fizzy, disappearing, off-white head. Smells of medium toasted malt, sourness, caramel and toffee. Some light spice? Light thin body. Watery! Tastes sweet at first but as it warms the sourness of the smell becomes more flavourful. Mediocre.

Pours gold out of the can with frothy white head. Aroma is faint yeast but virtually nonexistent. Flavor is incredibly smooth with banana and tapioca notes. The drinkability is unmatched. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Lots of creamy head when poured a clear brown color. Creamy mouthfeel and not a lot of aroma. Slightly bitter and not as good as I remember.
