2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
From “Pub Draught” can. I guess this is supposed to be an example of an English “session beer,” but it doesn't really rock the american palate. The widget-type bubbler gave a good tall, cascading head (and this from a can that sat in my fridge for two years) that stayed with the beer and left a nice lace on the sides. Could not detect much aroma, which is better than smelling skunky, I guess. English pub style watery mouthfeel was uninspiring, and I couldn't pick up much taste, just a little residual sweetness. Nothing lingers much after the swallow. Nothing terrible, just not inspiring.
This is the same impression I got from the first can in the four-pack I got two years ago, so at least it keeps very well in the fridge.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
On draft, this so-called "pub ale" is an interesting English style pale ale, lighter than I expected but features the nitro smoothness of a Guinness. Thus features a good creamy texture and copper appearance, creamy head with full retention throughout the pint, smells weak of caramel malt. Taste is likewise weak, slightly earthy hops, some caramel malt. Drinkable, light, pleasant, however something macro-ish about it, but enjoyable as a table beer. There are much better English ales out there.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Inoffensive, smooth golden ale. A solid pub pint, even from the can. Definitely a nice turn for those wanting a post-work drink.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Malty aroma with notes of caramel. Clear copper colour. Clean front with light grainy and toffee notes. Slightly watery with mild carbonation. Beer is fine, but I wouldn’t get it again.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Creamy amber beer with good-sized head. Low carbonation. A light, sweet bitter. Goes down easy when having only 1 or 2. I don;t recommend having more than that as it can be a bit sickening

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pint can. Pours a goldenrod color with a thick nitrous head. Aroma is very faint, but mainly sweet yeast and malt. Flavor is also very sweet, sort of like wet cardboard. Palate is creamy, but kind of flat. Not a big fan.
