BeerGestapo (725), Windsor, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 25, 2008 Brewed in England !! Pours a hazy yellow color with a super creamy white head. The aroma is of floral hops, toffee, and malts. Taste of warm bread, with a hint of honey. Mouthfeel is very smooth and refreshing.... Not bad, But i still like Guinness better. rustbucket0873 (145), Krikville, New York, USA Sep 24, 2008 This is a pub can that was poured, Pours a nice amber color with a full head. there are not a whole lot of aromas. the taste is not much either, its smooth, with kind of a grassy flavor. this is an OK brew Dhasek (2), Martinez, Georgia, USA does not count Sep 22, 2008 I personally love this one. Ive had both the can and tap. full head. creamy. and goes down well. i would recommend. Many places have it on tap. danielcurtis81 (879), San Diego, California, USA Sep 19, 2008 Getting my notebook online. Pub Can. Pours a rish amber w/ a full head. Not a whole lot of aromas. Taste not very complex but very smooth and refreshing. A good session beer, relaxing and tasty! lumpsowers (235), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA Sep 18, 2008 I have never been a big fan of the widgets, usually make a beautiful pour but a flat lifeless sip. Thick and hoppy, giant head. bconley (351), Fern Park, Florida, USA Sep 17, 2008 OK. Seems to be on tap at alot of places, which offers a nice alternative to Bud light and Coor’s light. Looks like cream soda. Leaves me wanting, but its not bad. zappafan99 (462), South Carolina, USA Sep 3, 2008 Taste 9/8 Can w/widget. Looks: Golden body with nirto induced foam/reducing overall aroma and flavor. Aroma: Creamy yeast. Taste: Might have been an o.k. beer at some point. Taste is weak and bland. Powdery feel in aftertaste....like 10 year old crushed hops on my tongue. Not worth spending money on and I would turn it down if it was free. vanq86 (3), Canada does not count Aug 29, 2008 440ml can. Upon opening there is far too much creamy head at the top of the can, preventing a good pour. Smells strongly of malt. Flavour leaves a bit to be desired, quite a 1 dimensional beer. Overall better than most macros I’ve tried, but nothing to write home to mother about.
