Pours a beautiful golden color with thick, frothy Guinness-like white head. Smells malty, perhaps some honey in there... not much smell. Tastes surprisingly creamy, even though it is a bit watered down. Lots of malts, slight metallic tinge, not much else going on. Not bad, not really a fan of bitters. 12many (231), Ohio, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 19, 2008 Clear golden with a strange white lumpy head. Not much aroma just a little malt. Flavor is barely bitter but mostly bland. This beer feels like water. I wasn’t expecting much and so I can’t say I am disappointed. ethomson (56), Huntington Beach, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 19, 2008 I think Boddington’s is so underrated! The pour is beautiful, a solid golden body with an amazing thick white foamy head. You can smell hints of corn, barley, it’s a little malty. This beer only gets a bad wrap because it’s a little watered down, which is true. My advice to you.... Always drink off tap or from a frosted mug, let the head seattle, and don’t go into this beer expecting too much, and I think you’ll enjoy it shanepardue (107), Raytown, Missouri, USA
| 1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Jul 16, 2008 Pours clear amber with thick, creamy white head. This beer is a glorified light, mainstream beer. Its head is a little different from the others, but the flavor is light and minimal. Not my cup of....beer. doogie (24), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA

The beer has a nice golden amber color with a creamy white head that lasts and lasts. The aroma and taste are of light malt balance with hops - Finishes smooth. Nothing spectacular here, but a nice solid beer to enjoy from time to time KawaBomber (193), New Jersey, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jul 14, 2008 440mL Can: Pour starts out milky white then turns to a super clear gold body w/ a long lasting creamy white head. Honey, sweet malts & some light hops in the aroma. Flavor is of caramel, hops & a mouthful of pennies on the finish. The metallic finish is a little harsh. Beer is very watery too, but still remains creamy. The lacing left behind is pretty cool. Rather average, nothing jumps out of this that makes me want another.
