ethomson (56), Huntington Beach, California, USA Jul 19, 2008 I think Boddington’s is so underrated! The pour is beautiful, a solid golden body with an amazing thick white foamy head. You can smell hints of corn, barley, it’s a little malty. This beer only gets a bad wrap because it’s a little watered down, which is true. My advice to you.... Always drink off tap or from a frosted mug, let the head seattle, and don’t go into this beer expecting too much, and I think you’ll enjoy it shanepardue (107), Raytown, Missouri, USA Jul 16, 2008 Pours clear amber with thick, creamy white head. This beer is a glorified light, mainstream beer. Its head is a little different from the others, but the flavor is light and minimal. Not my cup of....beer. doogie (24), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 16, 2008 I first had Boddingtons on draft in Scotland and it was really nice - cans in U.S. are not as good. The beer has a nice golden amber color with a creamy white head that lasts and lasts. The aroma and taste are of light malt balance with hops - Finishes smooth. Nothing spectacular here, but a nice solid beer to enjoy from time to time KawaBomber (193), New Jersey, USA Jul 14, 2008 440mL Can: Pour starts out milky white then turns to a super clear gold body w/ a long lasting creamy white head. Honey, sweet malts & some light hops in the aroma. Flavor is of caramel, hops & a mouthful of pennies on the finish. The metallic finish is a little harsh. Beer is very watery too, but still remains creamy. The lacing left behind is pretty cool. Rather average, nothing jumps out of this that makes me want another. stangger (155), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 14, 2008 Pint onboard the Liberty of the Seas in the Caribbean. Completely Flavorless with a bitter shock; like drinking contaminated sewer water. I REALLY hated this beer. I’ve made better bitters in my basement. Way too many "I hope this was a bad batch..." comments - I don’t think it was... JJClark (545), Roscoe, Illinois, USA Jul 12, 2008 Can.Pours a dark golden color with medium size head. Aroma of light citrus and light hops. Has an odd herbal, earthy creamy taste. Finish is plain and watery. solifugid (11), New Paltz, New York, USA Jul 11, 2008 Draught can. Pours a light honey color with a gorgeous flowing head. Quite sweet with very little bite. Overall a very pleasant, drinkable beer. joebudzjoe (222), Connecticut, USA Jul 8, 2008 On tap. Gotta give credit to the uniqueness to this beer. The nitrogen gives this beer a perpetual creamy head with a thinly bubbly sip. Not much flavor or aroma though, some slightly skunk malts.
