KnN (712), Greenbelt, Maryland, USA Jun 14, 2008 On tap at the Frisco Grille in Columbia, Maryland. Smooth creamy pub ale with not a whole lot going for it other than it’s creaminess. Easy drinker, decent session beer. No hop profile at all and the malt could be there, but is pretty low-key. Standard pub beer, but not great by any means. epf33 (222), Fairfax, Virginia, USA Jun 13, 2008 known as Boddingtons Cream Ale where i got it from, maybe it was a different beer then, i dunno. hazy gold color, creamy flavor, but no body whatsoever, would almost classify as a light beer liinis (695), Helsinki, Finland Jun 12, 2008 quite dark gold, with big white cream head. pleasant hoppy aroma. Creamy smooth slightly bitter flavor. watery light/medium body and flat carbonation. refreshing aftertaste MarkTheCurious (1), Louisville, Kentucky, USA does not count Jun 11, 2008 A nice ale, but I didn’t find it memorable.
I would drink it again, but I won’t be looking for it as one of my gotta get another one of those beers.
UnholyBrewing (448), Melbourne(Mulgrave), Australia Jun 11, 2008 ...bottle and tap. Nice, creamy, goes down so well. Nice balance on the malt, is slightly sweet with good honey notes. Very drinkable, overall good brew. BeerBaron617 (306), Novi, Michigan, USA Jun 10, 2008 I was expecting this to be a heineken or fosters clone, but i was surprised with it’s creamy head and slight sweetness. very drinkable, and I would say a nice alternative to the aformentioned brews. BOLTZ7555 (1053), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Jun 7, 2008 On tap @ Fox N’ Hound. This is an interesting one...Beautiful shaving cream head sits atop a 14 karat body. Creamy texture but little flavor. Slightly sweet and grassy...Purdy (yes, I meant to spell it like that) but no substance. rman18 (200), South Amboy, New Jersey, USA Jun 6, 2008 Updated: Sep 16, 2008Carbonated with Nitrogen and this beer goes down smooth. Not much of an aroma but a nice appearance of golden yellow and creamy like bubbles. Slightly sweet flavor. Great beer - I’m not running out to buy a six pack but next time I’m at a bar and see this beer - I’ll be getting it again.
