Merkmon (1), Gulf Breeze, Florida, USA does not count Apr 10, 2008 The taste of this ale is vuluptuous, creamy, and smooth. It rules over the land of ale with an iron fist. To question it’s taste and flavor is to question your manlihood itself. changeup45 (782), Orlando, Florida, USA Apr 10, 2008 Pours a golden color with a very thick, creamy head. Almost out of control. Fairly smooth and creamy with sweet malts and leaves somewhat of a bitter taste. Good beer, for a while it was a regular of mine. At $5 for 4 pint size cans, it comes at a decent price too. MBison (548), Southern Highlands, Australia Apr 9, 2008 Updated: Aug 24, 2009Nitro can 鷸ml). Poured a honeyed orange-brown with a dense; creamy, white head which was fully lasting. Aroma was of sweet biscuity malts with mild notes of earthy hops, sweet honey and some butterscotch. Flavor was smooth with a light hop bitterness (earthy), sweet caramel malts, honey and a slight metallic finish. Light bodied with traditional still carbonation, an extra creamy; slightly dry mouthfeel, watery texture and an ok finish. A good session beer. BeerFanDan17 (610), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA Apr 8, 2008 I had this on draft when I lived in London in 2002 and in the can domestically. Nice bitter pub ale. Very unique flavor and creamy head. Matt991 (5), Orange, California, USA does not count Apr 7, 2008 Boddingtons pours golden with a creamy and thick head. The taste is mildly bitter with an easy palatability. The aroma is somewhat metallic out of the can, out of the tap it has a mild hint of honey. Jonte (801), Gothenburg, Sweden Apr 6, 2008 Updated: Jan 15, 2009Nitro-can. Golden colour with a very creamy off-white head. Aroma: Sweet and malty, some hops and a bit floral. Flavor: Malty taste with mild bitterness, caramel, grain, floral and metallic. Smooth and creamy, but also very watery mouthfeel. Unique69crazy (119), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Apr 5, 2008 Unique dry taste followed by a bitter swish with your first taste. Pours a dark golden with a thick creamy head. Aroma was more of a beginning than a wow it’s here. Nice and smooth flow with a hint of honey screaming for flavor, which just didn’t seem to be Gethinbeer (993), Nova Scotia, Canada Apr 5, 2008 Can. Sweet honey aroma. Golden appearance with a decent thick creamy head. Smooth texture, honey with a very faint hint of bitter hops. Little sickly. Never been my favourite British beer of this style. And its never been the same since brewed by interbrew. Cream of Manchester yet brewed in Wales!. Says it all. Many beers are slowly being destroyed by huge companies like this and must be stopped.
