jbuzz (658), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Nov 12, 2007 Deep and slightly bitter. Poured out of the can with a very full head. Still very smooth. BrewDad (2363), Olympia, Washington, USA Nov 8, 2007 1 Pint Tin Can - Gravity Room - Olympia, WA.
Aroma – Deep malty with a good amount if bitter hops
Appearance – Golden in color, Clear with a thick head
Flavor – Had a deep malt flavor with some hops that gave it some bitter flavor but not what I was expecting.
Palate – This was a dry finished beer with some nice overall flavors.
Overall –This was a good beer but missed the Bitter boat. Nice but needed more bittering hops and lacked that overall British Bitter flavor.
boFNjackson (1233), Portland, Oregon, USA Nov 6, 2007 Pint Can... Poured an amber with a white head. Weak, watery malt aroma. Boring palate that made my tongue ache. Tasted like killians or something. I’m not sure about this one, I wish I ignored it from the self. naivepegasus (183), USA Nov 5, 2007 Pours golden with a creamy head. Sweet, creamy odor. Light, smooth taste that ends with a taste of soft cream. Almost seems to have the consistency of milk. A drinkable beer, with a slightly lingering taste, but no really strong flavors to it. GRM (1235), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada Nov 2, 2007 Draught, 20 ounces, drank at O’Connell’s, savoured June 7 2007; eye: golden with yellow reflections, thick white head made up of tiny bubbles giving it the appearance of cream, so much lacing it looks like velvet, clear; nose: hops, vanilla, banana but not as much as the two preceding weeks, fresh, a bit of alcohol, citrusy; mouth: the head catches the bitterness making the head tastes like agressive bitterness, malt, spices, relatively smooth, rather thin, agressive and unpleasant bitterness in the finale that contrasts somewhat with a beer that is smooth and not that tasty, texture is creamy at the start and then watery, medium-light body, good carbonation, slightly bitter and sweet

The cascade and head is reason enough to love this beer. The taste is creamy yet bitter. Not as smooth as a lager, but not thick like a guiness. It’s a weird cross breed beer and if you have people over it has a sort of indie-cred that makes you cool and sophisticated...but not snobbish. chrisok (77), Norman, Oklahoma, USA Oct 31, 2007 Canned pint in Huntsville, AL.. Pours a deep brown with a fairly foamy head that lasted a fair amount of time. Aroma is malted and wheaty. Taste is sweet with malt. . A hint of the bitterness does come through in the end. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy with a touch of bitterness. Overall pretty good, but not great. Cletus (4999), Connecticut, USA Oct 27, 2007 Pours dark copper with some fizzy bubbles. Smells of some pepper and a touch of dry malt. Tastes of corn with some earthy undertones and a hint of pepper. This is supposed to be a bitter? Tastes more like crappy malt liquor.
