Jul 12, 2007 pours thick, has a thick head, looks great, smells great, its like a seethrough guiness. one of the better things ive gotten on tap around here.

Jul 10, 2007 Can - Hadn’t had one in awhile, but the morons at one of my local bars decided to take Hopdevil off tap. Lighter pour with a slight malty aroma. Flavor is grainy and plainy. OK in a pinch, but I would rather be in a London pub with a Cask-poured bitter.

Jul 8, 2007 16oz. can. pops and foams up through the mouth of the can after opening this widget containing can. i love to watch these english beers pour as they cascade and settle into the glass. attractive slightly dark golden color with a thick frosting like head forming on top. slightly sweet malty and grainy aroma with a little hay in the back. smooth and creamy entry with a light almost citric fruity middle and a nice bittered finish. simple and easy to enjoy.

Jul 8, 2007 Had out of a draft can a few years ago. Can’t remember too much about it. Poured a fairly thick head. Average taste, fairly subdued. Hop and malt fairly balanced. Decent but not above average.

Jul 8, 2007 440 ml can. pours golden with a glop of thick white head that floats along all the way down the brew. the widget stripped all carbonation just as it was meant to do. aromas are sweet grass and faint malt. flavours are non-existent with the exception of the bitter finish. this beer looks great when you pour it but has nothing goin for it in the middle. faint aromas and the thinnest body ive tried.

Jul 7, 2007 pint can pours dull yellow with a creamy white below average head, but retains nicely through the duration of the brew. the aromas here are pretty muted; only the grass and minerals really shine through. there is a faint hint of orange flavor, but that about wraps it up. the flavor is similar. it just tastes a bit too thin to be a high quality craft beer. not my style.

Jul 5, 2007 12 oz can. consumed from a glass at fridge temp. Pours a nice golden color w/a thick creamy white head. This is one of those cans w/ a co2 cartridge so it tends to be very smooth, but a bit flat. Not much flavor here, no hop or malts. A little bit of sweetness, but overall a boring beer.
