AOF (282), Naperville, Illinois, USA May 17, 2007 Draft from Paulie’s in Aurora, IL. Light amber in color, full two finger head with lots of bubbles. Nose is non-existant. Some basic malts but nothing else. Light to medium in body, this one is very smooth and creamy with a fine finish. Great session beer, nothing better. hopson (591), Williamsville, New York, USA May 17, 2007 tap- not good at all. I enjoy a good bitter, but this came off like a watered down american light lager. Creamy head, super yellow pale body. No noticable aroma, barely any flavor. mhelgason (495), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA May 15, 2007 Can. Above average, white, creamy head. I must say the head is very pretty. Clear amber colored body. Not much to this beer some light bitterness and some metallic flavors in the finish. Very creamy mouthfeel though. I still cannot recomend this beer. Driftwood6 (214), USA May 14, 2007 On tap at a local pub. Actually looks nice, and has a creamy mouthfeel (nitrogen carbonated). But not at all complex or interesting. Maybe drink one to start the night and cleanse your palate. After that move on to something else. tjthresh (1745), Greenfield, Indiana, USA May 11, 2007 Can. Pale yellow with a widget formed white head. Down hill from there. Everything is very faint from there. And it just didn’t tast good. torturer666 (29), Commerce, Michigan, USA May 8, 2007 A very interesting brew. This sell’s on innovation, appearence, and a nice tall creamy thick head, that is better tasting and inticing then the actual beer itself.
Not bad, just way overpriced. onehotsexychic (101), Albany, New York, USA May 6, 2007 I had no idea it would be fizzy, I got beer all over... and it’s a good thing too b/c I didn’t really like it.. I didn’t like it at all. nramsburg (200), New York, New York, USA May 2, 2007 Had this one in the 500 ml can with nitrogen. Decent color and creamy palate, lightly sweet with a quick finish. Definitely not a great brew, especially considering the price in the states. In the price and availability range Old Speckled Hen is a much better choice, as is he Red Hook ESB.
