I remember watching "Keeping up appearances" on the BBC. This was one of Onslows favorite bitters. He Rocked...Sad to say this beer doesn’t. Airy, yellow pour. Light bready, cardboard like aroma. Muted taste. Creamy toffee, bread and butter flavor. Faint bitter finish. Thin mouthfeel. Nothing stands out here.

Easy drinking with a beautiful head and excellent carbonation. It’s golden color is clear and sparkling. Malt dominates the flavor and profile with hops and yeast taking secondary flavor roles.

Can(50 cl) from Systembolaget. Light amber and clear, with a small but creamy off-white head. Malty, fruity aroma with apricots and peaches, and some faint hops. Medium bodied and smooth. A gentle sweetness is balanced by a nice hop bite in the finish.

Pours a golden settling colour with a thick white head. Has a very sweet honey aroma. Has a malty, banana flavour, but a little watery. If this was thicker, it’d be great. As is, it’s just ok. The widget does give it a great pour, though.

Pours a pale dull copper color w/ shallow, beachball spattered froth that sits there motionless. Aroma is bitter and dry. Light nectar w/ no residual effers. Totally flat. Bitter and uneventfull. An Englishmans dream. Watery w/ nuances of leather and citrus rind. The finish is bittered seriously.

The aroma was fruity and estery with a strong presence of banana. As the banana aroma fell back a light mineral character emerged coupled with a bit of caramel. The beer poured nitrogen and milky till the off-white head set and then it was crystal clear copper. The flavor was lightly tart and had a strong grape character. Not an artificial grape, more of a not ripened grape straight off the vine without sweetening. The flavor was decidedly bitter, but was not offensive. Some caramel was present, but it was quickly thrashed by the bittering. The body was medium light and the carbonation (nitrogen) made the beer creamy. Not an enjoyable beer with the strong bittering, grape and banana. 1 pint can with widget.

Good creamy smell to it. Has a cream taste to it, however it’s kind of flat. Pour’s very nicely, nice gold color to it.

If you like drinking melted butter...you’ll love it!!! Tons of head. I like the can more than the beer.
