I tried this beer on on tap on May 14, 2009 at "Smokeless Joe’s" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a translucent golden-brown with a thick foamy long-lasting white head out of a can with a widget. The aroma was grainy malt, some hops, and citrusy notes. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was grainy malt, and some hops. Refreshingly good, but not outstanding.

Rich golden color with a slight cream head. Taste was good but nothing overly comlpex. I’ve had this in cans (always enjoyed it) and on tap at a local bar (I barely could put it down, I think something was wrong with the tap). Anyway I would drink it again.

Pours gold with a cream head and a cascading thing going on deep into the glass.(pretty cool) Long lace.Aroma was hoppy. nothing really going on there.Taste. a slight hint of spice with a dominating taste of grains. All drinks are at first very watery then you get the grains and bitterness. Ditto of the after taste. Nothing notable really going on with this "pub Ale" but it fits it’s title well a good night out at the bar,pub grill with friends.(well not here in the USA we pay the import taxes at the tap) But I’m sure it would be a good one at the pub in it’s native country.

Golden, slightly hazy pour with a white head and decent lacing. The aroma was sweet, toasted malts, light spice and bread. The flavor was sweet malts and light spicy hops. Thin, drinkable mouthfeel. Sessionable, but on the sweet side.

This was not good. Tasted like someone poured beer in the very bottom of a glass and then poured water the rest of the way. Would not drink again in a million years. The only beer I would drink from the can is something intentionally cheap like pabst or coors, not something thats supposed to be nice. A total drain pour.

Widget Can. Pours a creamy yellow gold with a thick creamy head. Taste is very creamy and smooth and subtle hop finish. Palate is thinner, mouth is creamy but watery and thinner than expected.

A creamy yellow in color beer. Pours a thick foamy head. Taste is creamy with a bit of bubble carbonation. A little spice and hoppy aftertaste. Overall an okay beer.
