I’ve had this on tap in the US, and in Britain. Guess which is better. An amazingly creamy head prevails, and the beer is smooth and enjoyable. Nothing special, but it is a beer that you can have a few of at the end of the day and still keep your head.

Nitro tap: Pours a thick golden with a puffy white head. Lightly malty aroma. Body is semi-sweet and moderately bitter with a crisp finish. A decent bitter, but could use more of a darker caramel malt flavor and assertive hoppiness.

My favourite of the canned British ales. This is so smooth and it pours so well. Lovely tasting beer but it does fill you up quickly so three pints is the maximum for me in one sitting.

Clear light amber. Large creamy white head. The nose is sugary, notes of honey. The flavour is well balanced, just a tad of hops creep through the malt. Just not enough flavours from either though. Creamy palate. Nitro can.

One of the first british beers I tasted and it left enough of an impression on me that it's still a favourite, although i'll admit it's not a beer i'd say was one of the best beers i've tasted it's still one of my session beers for when i'll be drinking a few pints. floral aroma, enough body and head for me not to complain, creamy mouthfeel, well hopped for bitterness.

Golden-blonde colour with cascading white curtains and a thick creamy white head. Nitro head hides a fairly fruity aroma, a touch of spice and a bit of nuttiness. Flavour is quite nice, fruity and spicy. It could use a bit more acidity, but I suspect it’s from the stupid widget. There is also a touch of citrus in here.
