2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 MoritzF (7137) - Bochum, GERMANY - NOV 3, 2008
(50cl can with 44cl content) Clear, light-amber colour with a creamy white layer. Slightly sweet and toasted malty nose with subtle fruity notes. Moderately bitter flavour, light bodied with a flat nitro mf. Pretty one-dimensional malt-accented taste with a faint fruity touch; dry and slightly bitter hoppy finish with a tinge of lemon. Not that bad, just a bit plain (27.X.08).

Not to be confused with the widget.. this beer is a smooth yet clean beer with a strong hop but low alcohol by English Standards

[Nitrokeg at the LV Lounge, George Hotel, Reading] c5 Pours a dark, dirty gold with a moderate, lasting creamy white head. There is a slight carbonation, and the mouthfeel is a lot less smooth than other nitro/smooth ales. Initial taste is metallic, but eventually some sweet malt comes through, with a sort of rough-and-ready flavour that feels slight more genuine than your average macro ale. Overall impression is a beer that is weak, watery and metallic. Worse than I remember.

Very pleasant, creamy, nice ale.
Also the only one to be easily found in France.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 ChrisTurner (202) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - JUN 14, 2008
Beautiful looking beer once the nitro storm in the glass has died down after pouring from the can. Copper colour with no sign of carbonation but a thick white head with excelllent retention that leaves lashings of lacing. Aroma is gently sweet and vaguely hoppy. Palate is creamy yet watery. Flavour is pretty one dimensional and flat, with a weakly bitter edge. OK, but after finishing one I’m hardly dying for another.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 DownsouthGav (601) - Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 15, 2008
Famous beer that has an undeserved good reputation. The beer is smooth on the mouth however it has a chemically induced nose with some cream and the taste is artificially sweet.
