Commercial Description:
Pasteurised and artificially carbonated for keg and can.

I think Boddingtons bitter is an acquired taste. I don’t mind it ; however, it is a simple beer that is not complex really. Yellow color with a hint of orange gives way to a large creamy head in a glass. This is a bitter beer with a light taste and goes down easy. Prefer this in draft than to the the Pub Ale in cans I get in the US.

Dark golden colour, medium white head. Aroma has fruity hops. Flavour has fruity hops and sweet malts. Some bitterness. Lots of carbonation. Average.

[Nitrokeg at the LV Lounge, George Hotel, Reading] c5 Pours a dark, dirty gold with a moderate, lasting creamy white head. There is a slight carbonation, and the mouthfeel is a lot less smooth than other nitro/smooth ales. Initial taste is metallic, but eventually some sweet malt comes through, with a sort of rough-and-ready flavour that feels slight more genuine than your average macro ale. Overall impression is a beer that is weak, watery and metallic. Worse than I remember.

Draught can. Pours a light honey color with a gorgeous flowing head. Quite sweet with very little bite. Overall a very pleasant, drinkable beer.
