3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Quevillon (2240) - Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 4, 2013
Drank from a bottle at the 20th Mondial de la Bière, June 1, 2013. Foggy blonde, little head. Aroma of dry orange, slightly hoppy. Taste of herbs, citrus hops sweet, slightly bitter with a little alcohol sensation. A good summer beer that will betray you!
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 aletiosso (42) - São Paulo, BRAZIL - MAY 29, 2013
Dourada. Media formação de espuma com Bia persistência. No aroma, damascos, médio dulçor. No sabor, médio amargor, médio dulçor, damascos. Sem presença marcante dos lúpulos como era de se esperar. Também sem o sabor marcante das Tripel belgas. Mesmo assim, uma cerveja agradável.

Not so hoppy, not so tripel, but a nice belgian specialty ale, with presence of alcohol in the mouth and nose, a little fruty inthe aroma too. good drinkability.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 bkurtz (580) - PERU - FEB 7, 2013
Poured a fairly clear golden with a smallish head and lots of tiny bubbles. Candy and pine aromas. Nice spice of citrus and coriander, but the a little cloying. Smooth, hard to believe it 10% abv. Besides the thickness, I really liked it.

Fruity - just not my style. Seems to fall in to the tripel style comfortably.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 TURDFERGUSON (3580) - Carrboro, North Carolina, USA - JAN 27, 2013
From the bottle at rrbf. Served by the owner/brewer and his mother. Very nice people, I worked their booth for a little while so they could go try some other brews. I actually ended up working 3-4 different booths during the last hour of the fest! Pours a hazy yellow straw with a frothy white head. Nose is light pine, apple, pear, banana, bubblegum. Flavor was similar, a little heavy on the booze and a little bit of a mess but fun to try a Tripel from Brazil. I hear their craft beer scene is growing!!!
3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Rrauth (650) - North Carolina, USA - JAN 26, 2013
Hazy golden draft. Belgian yeast is prevalent. Not to bitter and has a good flowery nose to it. Nice to try but that's it.
