Bottle @ RBESG’13 Grand Tasting @ De Molen: Served in a Molen taster: Thanks for sharing Abijen:
Medium to smaller sized off white head that changes pretty quick into a lacing on top of a murky muddy light brown colored beer.
Aroma of fruit, flowers, perfume, porridge, grains, peach and incense.
Flavours of flowers, fruits, hay, peach, banana, yeast, some malts, herbs, bitter and light spicy.
Aftertaste of yeast, hay, malts and bitter.
Low carbo, soft creamy mouthfeel, medium body and a creamy texture.
Mediocre and a bit unbalanced.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
33cl trade at ZBF 2013. Brewed Oct2012. Apparently exclusive brew for Heeren v Liedekercke, strangely by Boelens... Dubbel-brown Belgian ale with Interesting complexity: an Oud Bruin/traces of geuze buried beneath a dry abbey-style dark ale: notes of roasted and chocolate malt, some fruit and figs and a shy Rodenbach sourness. Easy drinking for a hard-to-grasp blend.
