signori superbirra! ricordo la mia ultima visita al birrificio boelens..agricolo,rustico,utilizzo di materie prime visibilmente naturali,alla mano e semplice..in questa birra si può trovare tutto ciò..pur non rientrando a mio parere tra le birre artigianali natalizie,la birra è una bomba! aromi agrumosi molto molto decisi (pompelmo in primis) derivanti da spezie e piante particolari sicuramente (ricordo roba verde che veniva lanciata nei fermentatori :D) e non da luppolo..gusto maltato ma come nell’aroma,dominato da spezie davvero gradevolissime che la rendono amara ma non come il luppolo..un qualcosa che svanisce dopo la sorsata e invoglia la gola a ricevere dell’altro! gasata al punto giusto,corpo medio,finale secco..davvero un’ottima birra "natalizia"!

Santa Bee op het etiket... Donkerbruin bier met mooie beige schuimkraag. Aroma: kruidig, karamel, chocolade. Smaak: zoetig, chocolade, donker fruit, karamel. Zacht mondgevoel met licht koolzuur en kruidige afdronk.

Bottle - labeled 'Santa Bee'. Pours a dark brown with hints of red coming through the light. Lasting brown foamy head leaving lacing around the glass. Aroma is of chocolate, nuts, oats, vanilla, wood, hint of liquorice. Taste is of chocolate, oats, dark fruits, nuts, caramel, light hint of spice on the finish. Light oily to foamy soft mouthfeel, light carbonation.

Bottle sampled at Essen Winterbier festival 2015. Appears dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of herbs, caramel, overripe dark fruit, perfume and toffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle at the Essen Winter Beer Festival, 2015. Poured a clear dark brown with a round off white head. The aroma is sweet malt, light caramel spice. The flavour is moderate sweet with a zesty fake sugar fruity light alcohol palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

bottle sample during xmas beer festival, poured a amber colour with a slight off white head. nose has vineous fruits upfront, going to the tart side, spices, caramel, and slight yeast. it’s not about right.

Bottle @ home. Dark amber to brown colour with a skall off-white head. Smells sour, red fruits, wild yeast, floral. Probably infected. Tastes sweet, loads of herbs, slightly floral. Doesn’t taste sour. Medium body, soft carbo. Taste isn’t too bad.

Clear amber beer, creamy irregular beige head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: sweet, honey, sugary, bit soapy, floral, citronella. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sourish, spicy, citrus, floral, hoppy, bit herbal. Aftertaste: soft bitterness, lots of citronella, some caramel, hoppy, bit grassy, soapy touch. Weird, with all the citronella. I’m curious where that came from...
