Version I had was the Santa Bee aliased one. A sour beer, the aroma reminded me of the Little One bar in Eindhoven. Some smokey flavours with a hint of cherry

Draft at Churchkey, as Santa Bee. Dark reddish brown with tiny edge head. Aroma resembles a Rodenbach. Taste is like a dry hopped Rodenbach Alexander. Very nice stuff.

11.2oz Santa Bee bottle purchased in Belgium. Dark, thick, brown-amber color. Sweet with a honey-candi sugar finish. Mellow and drinkable and smooth for 8.5%. A very well-balanced Belgian Christmas Ale. I really have enjoyed all of this brewery’s honey beers, and this may be my favorite yet.

Pours a hazy reddish brown with a good tan head. Aroma has lots of banana and spices... like a spiced Aventinus. Very malty, too. Flavor is more of the same, lots of malt and spice. A well made xmas beer.

Bottles as Santa Bee. A hazy dark amber beer with an average sized, lacing, creamy, half diminishing beige head. The raoma is powerful and malty, lightly hoppy and lightly yeasty with notes of fruits, many kinds of berries, spices , wood, with an herbal touch. Pleasant aroma. The flavour is moderately to heavily sweet, lighty to moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Some licorice and toasted notes in the finish. Creamy mouthfeel, lively carbonation, long finish with almost medium bitterness. Surprising beer, quite complex and warming, abit underrated

With honey
Dark amber color; magnificent giant, thick head. Malt and spices aroma; lightly fruity (yellow berries). Good malty body; caramel; a delicate touch of roasted malt, dry, reminding a Scottish Ale; candi sugar; final with some nuts. Thanks Jacob (Lövenlund) for this bottle.

Bottle at De Kelk (as Santa Bee). Pours very dark with floaties and a huge, lacing, creamy off-white head. Aroma reminds of Xmas greenery. Medium plus body with very creamy carbonation. Flavor is dark malt, with touches of spruce and floral hop. Fairly complicated. Finishes towards dry with a touch of heat. Enjoyed this.

Geuze-aroma. Sourish and sharp. Sour start and middle, more woody dryness in finish. Notes of oak. Like a Vlamish Oud Bruin, some sweet malty finish.
