Je n’ai pas trop aimé cette bière, une triple assez amère, on sent bien la levure. Bien pour l’été.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Light hazy pale body with high frosty head. Aroma is light vegetable with spicy character. Taste has high acidic bitterness upfront with low caramel sweetness, pretty unbalanced by the acidity in the after taste, but somehow refreshing. Body is full, high carbonation.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from de Bierschuur in Poppel. The beer has a deep golden color and a rich white head with a lot of bubbles. The aroma is very fruity with tones of lemon, spices, hops and some flowers. The taste is medium sweet with with tones of fruits, lemon like, which changes into a nice bitterness with tones of hops and spices. The finish is full and medium bitter. The bitterness is still noticable after a minute. Nice and decent tripel. Well done.

Ik drink graag tripels, maar dit was niet zo heel bijzonder, teleurstellend zelfs.

At the brewery.
Glowing gold, fluffy head. Fruity, Belgian grown Cascade hops giving white pepper and flowers. Biter, yet some sweet grain shining through.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
330 ml bottle into chalice, best before 2/12/2016. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy deep gold color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a large amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big lemon zest, peach, pear, apple, light banana, pepper, herbal, floral, light clove, candi sugar, bread, and floral/yeast earthiness. Awesome complexity and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon zest, peach, pear, apple, light banana, pepper, herbal, floral, light clove, candi sugar, bread, and floral/yeast earthiness. Moderate earthy yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon zest, peach, pear, apple, light banana, pepper, herbal, floral, light clove, candi sugar, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and pale malt flavors; with a crisp malt/yeast flavor balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and lightly prickly mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is well hidden with only a slight warming present after the finish. Overall this is an awesome tripel style. All around great complexity and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, earthy hops, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.
