KyotoLefty (6465) - Kyoto, JAPAN - DEC 22, 2010
Nice fruity aroma of apples, lemon, honey, bready, biscuity malts, also coriander, orangel deep golden yellow, heading towards copper, with a tall, fluffy head. Malty flavor, fruity, with apples and abit of orange, lots of bread, some honey. Dry, slightly bitter finish works well, and the bitterness lasts a while, as does a cracker-like malt, with some minerals. Decent, balanced tripel, though there is something minerally i there i cannot name that is interesting and weird.

DruncanVeasey (7191) - NUNEATON, Top 18, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - NOV 28, 2010
Honey and rust aroma with a nice jellied Belgian hop tang behind it; pine needles, maybe a puff of coriander. Dusted yellow with a fine white slick. Perfumey but hopped; decent marmalade and pine notes balancing the soap, Fruit Salad chews and pepperiness. Good.

Slayer85 (1051) - Firenze, ITALY - OCT 29, 2010
Bottle. A cloudy dark golden beer with an average sized, frothy, creamy, mostly diminishing white head. The aroma is moderately malty, lightky to moderately hoppy, lightly to moderately yeasty, with notes of toasted grains, biscuits, flowers, lemon, earth, alcohol, with a hint of pineapple. The flavour is moderately sweet, lightly sour, ligfhtly bitter. Medium to full body, lively carbonation, quite dry long finish with medium bitterness, moderately alcoholic. Well made tripel, very nice aroma and quite balanced, it doesn’t hide the alcohol so much, but no big deal. Fine.

Abio (1572) - Waasland, BELGIUM - JUL 4, 2010
Pours out golden yellow. Very big white head that holds nice and sticks to the glass. A bit unclear substance... Sour cookies smell. Not completly my thing for sure. Spicey, a bit weird taste. Dry, bread, some citrus. Not balanced well. Bitterness comes up lightly. Expected more from this one for sure.
