3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Ungstrup (23923) - Oamaru, - JAN 14, 2004
Powerful aroma of corriander, yeast and wheat. Unclear dark yellow with a fine dense head though fast disappearing. The flavor is yeasty with notes of corriander and malt. The alcohol is prickling the tongue before the end is dry.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Papsoe (22970) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 2, 2005
(Bottle 33 cl) Greyish, hazy beer with a tall, frothy head. Lightly tart nose. Very dry, tart citrusy flavours and perhaps some coriander although the label doesn’t mention that. It does however mention wheat, and this is very close to being categorized as simply a Belgian witbeer - although a not so typical one. 120498
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 maupie (908) - Roosendaal, NETHERLANDS - JAN 30, 2004
This beer has a light yellow body - hue apperance and a fine white scum collar. I have drunk the beer from the bottle and it had no carbonic acid, but you didn't feel it. The initial flavor tast to acid.
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Hildigöltur (5107) - København, DENMARK - JAN 14, 2004
Loads of yeast, and wheat in the aroma. Some spices there as well. Yeasty flavour. Thin.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 MartinKubert (862) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 14, 2004
Holy basil in the aroma. Some other spices and yeast too. Very yeasty flavor. Ends in a bit corny and prinkling feeling. Okay, but way too yeasty.
