Brewed in memory of a wolf that is supposed to roam in the north of Flanders, killing sheep. "Not for little lambs".

25 cl btl. Very fine lasting creamy head. deep redgolden colour. dry nose with light coriander and orange fruit. Almost fullbodied with fine length and a nice feel. Tase of orangecurd, coriander, sugar. Really pleasant only a shame its so small a bottle.

Hazy light brown colour. Spicy, yeasty aroma. Fresh, malty taste. Quite a prominent coriander flavour comes through. Light caramel in the aftertaste.

Molt Bona cervesa bruna. Entra suau, molt poc carbonica. Lleugerament fumada i amarga i molt bon final de glop.

Test vom 17.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,4,5,4,8,4 - 4,85

Murky brown and very small head (serverd too cold?). Loads of yeast sediment. Aroma not too pronounced, with overripe fruit, garden and pumpernickel bread. Fairly balanced beer that adds an interesting sourness to the classic Belgian sweetness of these ales. On the other hand the taste stays the same from beginning to end. Not the best made or smoothest of all but a good drink.

Nice ale by Boelens. Like the taste, like the foam, nothing much else to be said about it, though.

botlte from beer planet. they shipped it to me around 2011.02.01 and the bottle says Houdbaar eind 2009. WTF?? anyways, cloudy yellow brown, smooth offwhite head. delicate yeasty and mild spicy aroma, cellary notes (aging?) flavor is yeasty, apple fruity, dry, yeast (tastes like belgian and champaigne although i´d be very surprised if they used champaigne yeast in this one). i like the dryness and the not so agressive fruityness. there is also caramel and malts, but it does not get sweet. Quite well balanced, and, it seems, a beer that ages well. the beer appears stronger in the flavor than the 6.5%, but in a very good way.
