Brewed in memory of a wolf that is supposed to roam in the north of Flanders, killing sheep. "Not for little lambs".

Nice ale by Boelens. Like the taste, like the foam, nothing much else to be said about it, though.

botlte from beer planet. they shipped it to me around 2011.02.01 and the bottle says Houdbaar eind 2009. WTF?? anyways, cloudy yellow brown, smooth offwhite head. delicate yeasty and mild spicy aroma, cellary notes (aging?) flavor is yeasty, apple fruity, dry, yeast (tastes like belgian and champaigne although i´d be very surprised if they used champaigne yeast in this one). i like the dryness and the not so agressive fruityness. there is also caramel and malts, but it does not get sweet. Quite well balanced, and, it seems, a beer that ages well. the beer appears stronger in the flavor than the 6.5%, but in a very good way.

Bottle (33 cl) from Etre Gourmet. Clear copper, fizzy beige head. Nutty and earthy aroma, with some port-wine notes (the bottle was labeled best before 2009). Dry finsih with low bitterness. Nice, but I think I would have preferred it fresh.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, amber colour with a beige and dense foamy head of medium size. Lemony fruity and slightly zesty aroma combined with dark and cara-malt, accompanied by tolerable notes of coriander. Moderately sweet flavour, surprisingly light bodied with a modest carbonation. Cara-malty and slightly toasted taste with a present fruit-character with notes of lemon and red berries; mildly sweet and slightly bitter finish with a sour fruity touch. Pleasant. 11.I.11

Bevuta alla spina, ha un bel colore classico con buona schiuma. Aroma e gusto sono nella media dello stile, ma è molto rinfrescante.

Bottle. A hazy/muddy dark amber/brown beer, with a lot of sediments, with a small, frothy, mostly diminishing white head. The aroma is lightly to moderately malty, lightly hoppy, lightly to moderately yeasty, with notes of caramel, earth, ripe banana and pear, with a hint of flowers. The flavour is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly sour, lightly bitter. Medium body, average to lively carbonation, quite long finish with light to medium bitterness, lightly alcoholic. Wheat and coriander are more evident in the flavour, too sweet, but tasty and fruity, Nice stuff

(33cl bottle thanks to bu11zeye) clearish amber with a film of tan bubbles. Nose of caramel, maple, sweet, Belgian yeast. Taste of alcohol, caramel, a bit fusel, apple, sweet, and undercarbonated.
