Bottle, 6.5% alcohol, not 6.8%. Label only states Boerke, but it certainly looks like the amber. Hazy amber with particles and a small head. Fruity aroma, somewhat metallic. Fruity, sweet, even vegetable flavours. Spiced. Full body. Average

Bottled. Cloudy orange color, beige head, good lace. Citrus fruity aroma, very hoppy. Soft sweet start but soon citric sour, orange, very hoppy, bitter, very earthy, bit dusty, light dry. Technically very much ok but not my kind of flavors. Reminded me of Orval somehow.

Bottle, reads only "Boerke", RBESG 2005 Grand Tasting. Slightly hazy amber to brown colour. Barnyard aroma. Moderately dry flavour, hints of oak, decent hops.

I suppose what I’m drinking is the ’amber’ (doesn’t say anything on the label)...? 33 cl bottle, bbe ? Orange, very hazy, fine head which disappears rather quickly, but leaves persistent lace... Very heavy hoppy odour, but also a bit solvent-like, otherwise some intense flower smell. The flavour is very bitter and dry, earthy and rancid. Interesting though. Some sweetness hidden underneath it all.

lachesis (757) - St Idesbald, BELGIUM - SEP 26, 2004
Nice light hazy beer with a warm-golden color and a lively bubbleling head. In the nose there are fresh aroma’s of white fruits but also hint of youghurt, yeast and malt. The taste is round with some fruit and some sweetness in it, also a hint of soup? The afthertaste turns into a vegetal bitterness.

diabel (1609) - Aarschot, BELGIUM - MAR 7, 2004
White, fizzy head, which is good lacing and mostly diminishing. Yellow cloudy body. Hoppy and yeasty aroma. Lightly sweet, moderately bitter initial flavour, heavily bitter finish, which had a long duration. Lively mouthfeel.
