Nice brown colour. When you hold it in front of a good light source, there will be a nice red-ish colour shining through. Love that. Smells a bit malty. Nice taste. Quite heavy beer, but the mouthfeel is good.
4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 erickok (798) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - MAY 26, 2011
Dark red body. Big head with big bubbles. Caramel, peach, sweet bread, cane sugar and cloves. Very smooth body really nice. Slightly sticky as well. Full flavour with nice bitter mouthfeel and a very long aftertaste that’s slightly alcoholic. Unexpectedly good drink. (33cl bottle)

(Bottle, Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm) Dark reddish brown colour with brief, beige head. Malty nose with notes of dried fruit, caramel and dark cherries. Malty taste with caramel, dark bread, dried fruit, raisins, prunes and a bready, bittersweet finish. More than medium body, fairly dry. Well balanced and tasty. Very nice.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 dnstone (1458) - Mons, BELGIUM - JAN 9, 2011
Deep brown in color with an excellent sudsy, off-white head. Smells like a bag of dry roasted malt. Super malty with moderate sweetness. Really a malt-bomb, like chewing straight malt. Deceptive strength.

UPDATED: JAN 30, 2012 33 cl bottle, pours dark reddish with a nice big creamy head, aroma of dark fruit, brown sugar and yeast with some diacetyl as well, taste follows the nose but with a slightly roasted note, bit sticky mouthfeel, overall too sweet but still a solid brew.
