330 ml bottle at Fiere Margriet in Leuven. Porus a dark brown with full head. Served too cold therefore aromas are almost non existant. I got was hints of caramel. Taste has caramel, sour malt, and spicy tones. Bitter finish. A bit thin.

Also multiple times at home and at Antwaerps Bierhuyske

Head: off white, creamy, medium
Colour: very dark gold/amber
Smell: nice bitter malty flavour , bit of booze, caramel, bit yeasty
Taste: Starts out a bit sweet with some malts, then comes in a boozey flavour but not disturbing it actually lifts the beer up a bit and adds a nice flavour, next is a bit of caramel , and a bit of hops, end is sweet/dry with a sweetbitter aftertaste, way better than his better half ;-)

Bottle shared by Dogbrick at the Eurostash III tasting on 1/12/12. Hazy copper pour with a huge tan head. Malty and caramelly nose with some Belgian esters. Caramel and malty flavor with a bit of crisp hop. Not overdone on the banana-ish esters. Not bad.

Sample at Eurostash III tasting on 01/12/2012: Bottle from Belgium Beers in Antwerpen. The beer is a dark reddish brown color with a medium light tan head that recedes steadily. Rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of dark cherries, caramel and cloves. Medium and slightly chewy body with a ripe fruity character and flavors of sweet spices, caramel and Belgian yeast. The finish is sugary sweet with a fruity aftertaste. Pretty good brew.

Bottle from Beers of Europe poured into a goblet. Dark brown with a very healthy bubbly foam head on it. Aroma is hoppy but not over done. Hopped and slightly sour. Its a good beer, light bitterness and a bit of alcohol bite and caramel. Could be a little more depth but a good pleasant ale.
