Bottle. Unclear amber brown color with a average frothy good lacing mostly lasting off-white head. Aroma is light malty, roasted, caramel, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Special bottle, 33 cl. Dark mahogany colour, beige head. Taste sweet. Medium body. I like "boerinneken" more.

Cracked Kettle. Another nice Ale. Ruby body with medium head. Sweet, fruity and caramel nose. Flavour also with caramel and fruits. Warming finish.

Deep brown colour, strong roasted malt flavour. Bit of a chew, but enjoyable.

This one is a nice one, but not excessive, it’s a bit too weak, but it’s ok.

Clear amber with very large lasting head and some sporadic lace. Practically no discerenable aroma when cold. Very faint floral hops and some alcohol aroma as it warms up. Medium bodied. Smokey burnt sugar dried fruit flavoured light carbonated and tangy start. Medium bitter middle and light smoked caramel bitter acoholic whiskeyish finish. Nice enough but lacks depth.

Thanks to HenrikS. Dark brown and unclear. Has an off-white head, mostly diminishing. Nice malty aroma, grain and dark bread. Flavor is heavy sweet, finish moderate bitter. Creamy texture.

UPDATED: JAN 30, 2007 24 May 2005 - (Pannekoeken Huis, near Margraten, NL but 20m inside Belgium) - Some spiritous fruit aroma. Cloudy brown-red colour, nice head and big suds lacing. Sweet spiritous hops and light fruit flavour. thick mouthfeel and bitter finish.
