Orange clear beer with thin head that slowly disappears.
Aroma: sweet/mandarin/bitter. The basic taste (scale from 1 to 5): sweet:1, sour:1, bitter:2.
The aftertaste: sweet:2, sour:1, bitter:1, also a flavour of liquorice in the finish.

Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt, and wet hay. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and alcohol, leading to a lightly bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottle from Beer Temple. Hazy gold body with white head. Nose is fruity and hoppy. Taste is also fruity, sweet, some yeast. Was quite enjoyable.

Bavik Boeteling Blond, served in Cambrinus, Brugge. Blond, slightly amber coloured beer, with a grainy aroma with some yeast. Flavour of sweet malts. The head disappears quickly and little carbonation going on in the glass.

A regular abbey style beer. It reminds me of Leffe Blond somewhat and I don’t like Leffe very much.

Sweet and spicy aroma of caramel with notes of alcohol.
Sweet and spices flavour of caramel and liquorice.
Spicy finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy golden with a white head. Sweet fruity nose, a little rustic and yeasty. Medium body, quite some fruit and yeast with a heavy metallic note. Fairly hoppy finish. 030511
