33cl bottle from Dranken Geers. Best before 26 June 2010, consumed in January 2010. Lively condition. Hazy gold in colour. Fluffy white head. Slightly yeasty aroma. Light spicing. In other words, a fairly standard Belgian blonde. OK but not very distinctive or inspiring.

Orange clear beer with thin head that slowly disappears. Aroma: sweet/mandarin/bitter. The basic taste (scale from 1 to 5): sweet:1, sour:1, bitter:2. The aftertaste: sweet:2, sour:1, bitter:1, also a flavour of liquorice in the finish.

Bottle, 6.6%. Mild vegetable aroma. Hint of dust and yeast. Clear golden colour, small white head. The flavour also has a little vegetable, hint of grain. A mediocre Blegian ale.

Bottle, bought @ BelgianShop.com.
Pours clear golden pale orange with a small, frothy, white head. Aroma is fruity, some sulphur, grassy, oranges and caramel. Medium carbonation, okay mouthfeel. Flavour is quite metallic and harsh. Some caramel sweetness. Some harsh bitterness. Light yeasty fruitiness. This is drinkable, but not really impressive.

(Bottled, BBE 21.8.2010) Clear golden with a medium, frothy and lightly lacy head. Pale-malty, grainy, lightly caramely, dryish and acidic aroma. Caramely-malty, somewhat dull and acidic flavor with some aromatic, grassy hops. Medium body with medium, soft carbonation. Quite a disappointment, with dull flavor, and almost more in common with European strong lagers, than Belgian ales.

Bottle, Jan’s, Stoke Newington, London. Poured an amber colour with an off white dissipating head. Sickly sweet aroma which permeated into the flavour; which was caramel malt heavy mixed with some canned fruit and yeast notes. Definite acidic tinge to this and as a consequence not hugely enjoyable really.

Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt, and wet hay. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and alcohol, leading to a lightly bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
