Sour malt aroma. Weak almost nonexistant flavor. Not unpleasant but nothing distinct at all.

Nate (3326) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 22, 2004
Some malt and acidity in the nose, with mild hops. Weak. Dark dull yellow clear with small white lacing head that dissipates quickly. Medium-heavy watery body and mild-medium carbonation. Very little sweetness to start, acidic, and some alcohol. Tastes like malt liquor, though only has 5% abv. Corny, dull finish, carbonic. After is mild bitter and chemical. Horrible beer.

Deep blond color. Bad aroma, somehow sweet, and of hay. Poor taste, very thin.

Ungstrup (26243) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - APR 8, 2004
A dark orange beer with a fine off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of honey. The flavor is malty with notes of straw and honey before a dry hoppy end. Thanks to marcusm for trading this.

Deep golden coloured with nice curtains. Well balanced with good maltiness and a nice hoppy finish.

UPDATED: AUG 12, 2004 The brewery have a way of getting the imbiber to drink this beer at the correct temperature, the back label has a temperature sensative area that shows up when it's cold enough. If warm the beer is not worth drinking. That aside, the beer had good golden colour with a firm head that will last to the end of the glass. The initial taste is of pale malt, with light Saaz style hopping rolling over the maltiness, followed by a mosty clean finish, some of the malt remaining on the palate. Now available in 50cl tins, sadly no thermo label.

caesar (3943) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - JAN 25, 2004
Clear yellow golden color, thick creamy white head. Aroma is very hoppy with a sharp herbal hint, which is not very nice. Hopbitter taste and palate, which are better balanced.

radiomgb (2143) - Peterborough, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 26, 2003
Gold in colour. Aroma had some slight hops, grass, and was a little skunky. Very light body, some hops but at the same time refreshing. Finish is short and bland.

Pretty unremarkable. I agree it was quite sweet. On the whole though it failed to leave any lasting impression.
