Dark yellow colored, medium sized yellow head. Nicely hopped and crispy aroma with lemon and some cardboard. Medium bodied. Flavor is clean with grassy hops, lemon also here. Aftertaste turns to cardboardy with some butter and lemon. Good for Lux-brew.

schuimkroaat (427) - Leuven, BELGIUM - MAY 5, 2006
0.5 L bottle, ’bbe’ May 06. Clear amber, a scarce number of large bubbles, frothy white head that doesn’t hold long. Dry, light hoppy aroma. Taste: dry and mild, light spicy and peppery, a bit metallic; gentle hop character in the aftertaste. Medium body. Like Battin Gambrinus with less hops.

(Bottled, 0.5l) Light amber color with a medium head. Very german-pils-like, corny, slightly buttery aroma. Buttery, acidic, reasonably malty and caramely flavor. Medium-bodied, sugary-sweetish, low-carbonated palate. A quite nice german-oktoberfest-like brew.
