5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
begins with a clean, hoppy aroma, transitions to the only beer i would describe as "refreshing", and finishes with the best malty flavor i have experienced

Bottle courtesy of Nisse666. Pours clear pale golden with a small frothy goldenish white head that doesn’t leave any trace on the glass while dissipating. Taste is sweet, bitter and metallic with cereal, canned corn, hay, dry soil, overripe plums and overripe pears. Mouthfeel is slightly sticky sweet, slightly astringent and light bodied. Finish is sweet, bitter and tiny sour with old bread, cereal, straw and overripe apples and pears.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
(33 cl can) Very pale golden colour. White head. Clear. Not a lot of aroma at all: very restrained grassy hop aroma, but also a hint something that reminds me of swimming pool water, like chlorine. Lightly bitter taste. Very light-bodied, strong carbonation, no aftertaste, short finish. Utterly boring.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
From tap in a bar in Brussels. Pale golden with a large white head. Stumled upon it in an almost empty bar on Hoogstraat (possibly LR6). Mostly pale largers in the bar, so I wanted to try a new one. Pretty standard pale lager, quite drinkable, but nothing to write home about. Worked as a break from all the strong Belgian beers we drank the rest of the time. Backlog - tasted 2011-03-20
