3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Martinus (871) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - MAY 21, 2012
Rating for draught
Clear pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts, grass, apple and hops. Quite bitter, fresh flavour, light malt, quite big on the hops for a lager. Decent body (again, for a lager) and medium lasting bitter finish.
Very decent lager, but quite unappreciated here. On bottles both the bottling date as the BB date is printed, which I’m always a fan of. As far as I could work out, the BB date is only 4 months from the bottling date, so I guess the brewers’ message is: drink fresh!
(Draught @ local bar, Saint-Hubert, Belgium)

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 BlackHaddock (1709) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 15, 2012
Brown 33cl bottle poured into a Veltins Pilsner stemmed glass. This was the first beer of my Luxembourg brewed tasting evening during October 2008..
Lovely clean, clear, golden yellow body, with a smart white head. As often, the head soon fell away to leave a wisp and collar.
Usual lager non-aroma (I always give a score of 3 unless I can smell something).
Dry and crisp, getting sweeter as it warmed a little. It has a soft feel to it, but came over a bit boring.
Bog standard lager with no stand out features, run of the mill stuff.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 MrHangover (465) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - MAY 6, 2012
Draft, bottle, can, anywhere in Luxembourg. Nothing too special, skunky smell, full bitter metallic flavour. Nothing bad too it, but certainly nothing exciting as well.

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 kaziopiwosz (42) - Warszawa, POLAND - MAY 3, 2012
I was surprised to notice taht this is good beer. Taste is light with bitter nute, foam stays 2 minutes on top, colour is light-gold. Bofferding remindes mi something like "champagne" - not in my type but good to remeber.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 MadIndian (1902) - Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 28, 2012
Gift from Sj. Glad to have the country rating, but the beer lacked anything memorable. Some lemon and hop notes. Thin in the body. EHH.

Bottled in Luxembourg, Pale yellow with a medium whitehead that diminished quickly but keep a nice lacing until the end. Aroma is malty, some yeast hints. Flavor is quite sweet hops. Yeasty, cereal finish. mouthfeel is dry...

Yellow golden brown fizzy, ugly. Even worse than most industrial pilsners. Metal, grainy, cooked rice. Crisp and watery. Clean palate, filtered to dead.
