Draft at Mellow Mushroom in Birmingham. Dark gold with a decent white head. Subtle malt aroma. Flavor is light and crisp malt. Very subtle hop finish. It’s like a hoppier Yeungling. Not bad. A decent session beer.

on tap at MM, pours gold with a thin white head. Aroma is skunky with lots of earthy grass notes. Flavor is off, metallic grain and thin hop bitterness. Not very good.

on tap at Mellow Mushroom, Windward Pkwy... pours a clear dark golden with an average white head... slight bitter nose with some sweeter malts. medium soft body with an average bitterness for the style... some light caramel malts... clean finish with a touch of bitterness... overall a very easy drinking ESB with some flavor but mostly pretty boring.

It’s a decent beer, but there’s nothing really too special about it. Goes great with pizza, a match made in heaven.

Draft at the MM in Franklin. Pours a clear amber with small white head. Fruity weak aroma with a lightly corny, grainy, bitter, buttery flavor. Definitely doesn’t stand up by itself. And it doesn’t even go all that well the pizza’s for that matter...

Poured clear amber color with an average frothy white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate sweet citrus and toasted aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration.
Average drinkable beer.

On tap at Mellow Mushroom. Very hoppy taste and a slight hay aroma. Arrived medium yellow with yellowish white head. Light fruity aftertaste.

An overall bland ESB. It’s just not that great. I mean, if it’s the only thing on happy hour, by all means go ahead. Other than that, don’t seek this one out. Amazingly mediocre and common tasting, but on the upside, it’s not bad, or hard to drink for that matter.
