Bottle. Best before March 2006. Small head with short duration. Color is clear ruby amber. Aroma is weak with malt and fruits. Taste is sweet with a peppery finish.

Bottle. BB 03 2003. Clear amber colour with virtually no head. Aroma of malt, spices and bread. Flavor of slightly sweet malt and some hops. Slightly watery on the palate and rather short finish.

Moderate malty aroma. Clear red body. Light bitter initial flavor. Medium palate.

Medium amber color, Small white head, fully diminishing.Aroma has notes of pepper and pine. Moderate bitter flavor.

UPDATED: APR 13, 2008 Bottle. BB 03-06. Frothy white almost no head. Amber colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate sweet and light bitter flavor. Week licorice-notes. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle. Clear amber colour with a small mostly diminishing white head. Aroma and taste of malts and fruits with nutty notes. Softly carbonated.

Bottle, at White Horse Babbelfest, August 2005. Low malt and a slight English style hoppiness in the nose, soft and gentle in the mouth with sweet malt and a slightly peppery spiciness, gentle malty sweet finish.

Brown. Roasted malty aroma. Malty flavor with notes of toast and peas. Dry.

Bottle at the GBBF White Horse Babblebelt bash. Orangey colour. Rather sweet. Bits of licorice and treacle in the flavour. Not much else. Not sure what the intention is here. I quite like the minimalist packaging, for what its worth.

Sampled White Horse, London: Hazy appearance. Very soft and sweet. Finish is malty, dusty and yeasty.
