Mar 20, 2009 Batch 103 courtesy of bu11zeye. Bottle on 6/10/2007. Pours with a muddy dark brown body with a small, off-white head. Aroma of orange peel, raisins, chocolate, styrofoam and tar. Taste is dark fruits, smoke, and a bit of bread. No real orange peel on the flavor. Syrupy for the ABV with light bubbles. Not too memorable.

Feb 10, 2009 Botella. Thanks Pinball. Deep dark brown colour. Coffee and roasty malty aroma with liquorice and spice. Good mouthfeel. The flavour has a good deep maltiness with spices, liquorice, hops and yeast.

Feb 9, 2009 Bouteille de 750 ml, avec bouchon de liège, partagée lors d’une dégustation Ratebeer Montréal chez MartinT. Arôme: Légère odeur de chocolat et d’épices. Apparence: La couleur est brune opaque. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de chocolat légèrement fruitée avec une pointe d’épices. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement huileuse. Faible effervescence en bouche. Légère présence de caramel en arrière goût. (Rating #2198)

Feb 8, 2009 Dark red-brown colored with little light brown head. Roasted coffee aroma with licorice and some vegetably yeastiness, nice aroma. Medium bodied. Flavor is also rich with roastiness and licorice in start, some berries also here. Aftertaste lasts with licorice and softening yeast still. Fine brew.

Feb 8, 2009 Bottle as #153 - shared by Pinball. Dark brown body with a creamy brown head. Lots of roasted malt and liqorice in aroma. In flavour chocolate, roasted malt, molasses and hops. Creamy and smooth mouthfeel. Another great brew from Bøgedal.
