Bottle as Bøgedal #76. Clear brown color with a average frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate / coffee, grain, spices, light hoppy, grass. Initial flavor is moderate sweet and bitter, finish flavor is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

UPDATED: SEP 21, 2008 75 cL bottle. Pours black with brown creamy head. Clear smell of coffee (nothern brewer hops)/roasted malts, hops and citric note - some yeast too. Round mouthfull with dark taste of malts and the brown sugar, alcohol beneath it all. Well balanced bitterness in the aftertaste. As it warms up the nothern brewer hops stands out and makes this beer taste very much like Nørrebro Bryghus Northern Bridge Extreme. VERY good beer
Bøgedal 0145. 75 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a lacing tan head. Aroma is mild spiced with annis seed and roasted malt. Smooth annis seed and malty flavour with a mild chocolate smoothness. Lingering malty finish with mild bitternes.7-3-7-3-14=3.6 - surprised that this should be the same beer...

UPDATED: OCT 19, 2009 Bottled (as 149). Very deep ambery brown almost opaque black colour, mediumsized brown foamy head. Aroma is dark berries, liquorice, some roasted malts, as well as toffee. Flavour is dark fruits, liquorice, smoked wood and roasted malts. Rather bitter and sourish smoked wood in the aftertaste.

Bottled (as Bøgedal Nr. 76), thanks thewolf ! Really dark brown. Flowery chocolate aroma. Medium, sweet and medium bodied with pleasant soft mouthfeel. Mildly flavourful with burnt cocoa, licorice and syrup. Chocolatey finish. A laid back wonderfully balanced beer.

Dark brown with no head. Sweet aroma with hard roasted malt, chocolate and coffee notes. Flavour was sweet with burned malt, dark chocolate and coffee notes. Finished dry and bitter from all the hops.

UPDATED: JAN 4, 2012 2005 christmas at Carlsens skvatter, Odense: Hazy orange with an off white head. Medium bodied & rather flat carbonation. Orange peel, sugar & dark malts. Caramel & spices. Remember liking this one, and remembering it as one of the better from the brewery!
Re-rate Odense Jan 2012. Caramel, spices and liquorice. Solid and tasty. Same total again.
