Thanks be to the Cheeseman. Woody and toasty aroma. Flavor is full of roast. Good stuff.

Courtesy ChzMan. Dark brown. Tan carbonation. Roast, chocolate, earth, wood, mild acidity. Like an earthy porter, unique brew. Medium body, smooth, easy.

Bottled. An unclear brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with notes of candy sugar. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, dugar, and sirup, leading to a dry bitter, sugary, and sirupy finish. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Moderate malty and burnt aroma. Virtually none head. Dark brown body. Heavy bitter and smoked flavor. Medium palate.

Bottle, 75 cl corked. A dark brown beer with a small, tan head. Cellar, roasted malts, some chocolate and some coffee in the aroma. The flavor has chocolate and roasted malts and is sure on the sweet side. Full body. I like it, still there’s something almost boring about it. Maybe it needs food. But it’s a pleasant and rustic beer I wouldn’t shy away from drinking again. (081128)

Bottle. Dark amber colour with small creamy off-white mostly lasting head. Aroma is roasted malt with notes of coffee. Fruity flavor. Creamy palate.

Bottle. Frothy lightbrown fair mostly demiminishing head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hopy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor with nice chocolate notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate. Not as good as 126.

Very dark ambered, with a heavy chocolate/ coffee flavour, slight sweet, and not so balanced as other bøgedal

Dark brown color with vey small head. Lots of burnt malt with a fruity taste. Some citrus.

Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are roast malt, fruits, coffee and hops.
