Bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a medium sized beige head. The aroma had caramel malts, herbal spices, fruits and cork. The flavor opens with caramel malts and ripe fruits. Midway I get some wood that becomes more like cork. The herbal spices remain through the finish. There is an earthy bitterness toward the finish. This was a strange beer, almost like a Fantome light.

Draft. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Fruity and roasty aroma, with candy sugar and a hint of bourbon. The flavor has roasted malts, a touch of ash, dark fruits, grains, and molasses. Unique in a very good way. I wish I could try all of these Bodegal beers.

Dark opaque brown color, small steady brown head. Berries, some malt vinegar in the nose. Medium-bodied. A bit tart, berryish (cranberries), some sweet notes, vinegar, coffee, caramel. Strange brew like Bogedals often are, but this is tasty.

some sour fruit like cherry with wood infused and a smooth body with some flowery pine, rummy, ivy and a waft of malt before a shortish finish that seems warming and a bit salty. nice reddish wood brown appearance.

Braudog (4606) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - FEB 4, 2012
Draft at the Birch. Reddish brown. Comes across with an almost sour attribute, a musty flavor to be sure, seemingly Flemish. After some masterpieces, this comes across as thin and not-quite-ish. Super potential that doesn’t come thru all the way. (#4465, 2/4/2012)

Bottle. Poured a clear reddish color with an average off-white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Good aroma of sweet spice and cork. Medium body with smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate sweet flavor with a moderate complex sweet finish of medium duration. Interesting soft brew.

Poured dark like a stout, but I couldn’t tell too much due to mood lighting. Crazy amount of head that is slow to dissolve. Smells of leather, and a little of stale coffee. Tastes like coffee but has metallic and earthy notes. Great creamy mouthfeel.
