COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Also known as Bøgedal 177, 192 and 204.

Nocturne (140) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - MAY 15, 2012
Sample as Nr 0281 at Ølfestival 2012. Black with little head. A little smoke and coffee in the aroma. There’s cola, berries and some cold coffee in the taste, but what fascinates me more is how unique and unusual the beer seems, even if it’s hard to decipher why this is the case. To taste it is like stepping back into the past. Just a shame that there doesn’t seem to be much liquorice and caramel as advertised. As my first experience with a Bøgedal beer it probably wasn’t the best one to pick from their lineup, but it’s left me wanting more from this idiosyncratic brewery.
