3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap at Omegn, Torvehallerne, Copenhagen. Very hazy orange with a short white ring of head. Orangey citrus aroma. More of that in the taste, along with a minor spicy yeast character. There’s something a little different about it, but nowhere near as unique as the dark ale of theirs I once had.

On tap @ Henrik. Not mush of a head on this. I even got a dead flie mixed in the thin light foamy white sidesticking head. The beer itself is as it should be; cloudy and dark orange. Nice sweetness in the nose with lots of wheat, yeast and some woody spices. Quite like the aroma. Really nice flavors also with a strong wheat sweetness, lots of dried zest, a little yeasty spices and a herbal tone. Not to impressive on the near flat carbonation level and it has a gliding oily mouthfeel. A bit dry mouthing in the finish. Not a extremely memorable wit, more on the middle of the tree. 20.07.2013

Sampled @ Copenhagen Beer Festival 2011 from 0.75l bottle: Pours a hazy straw yellow/golden body with a thin sidesticking off-white head. Aroma is hay, orange, orange zest, yeast and hints of banana. It’s really aggressive carbonated, has a watery fizzing mouthfeeling and medium-bodied. Much the same flavors as aroma, and it ends with a long lasting peppery and light yeasty finish. A nice fizzing wit from Bøgedal.
0.75l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. A scarry scarry pop on this one. Amazing that ClubGonzos roof did not suffer permanent damages.. Well, now that we just avoided a heart attack it’s time to pour it; Itæs a heavy clouded golden-orange-ish body with a, at first big white head that quickly fades away and lays a small thin film. The aroma has mild old banana tones, some clove indeed, light herbal also and a good dash of wheat. A light oily texture with a average to lively carbonation level. Nice light herbal flavors in between a nice wheaty base. Hint of citrus but quite subtle. Perhaps a bit subtle in many ways, but all in all a good one again from Bøgedal. 6-4-6-4-13 10.03.2012

Bottle, as Bøgedal Nr. 0309 Hvede, ABV 7,2. Hazy golden, dense white head, extremely good retention and nice lacings. Fruity orange-zesty nose with coriander and notes of wheat. Bold for the style, very flavorful and smooth with lots of well integrated orange and a slightly yeasty finish. Very nice wheat beer.

Hazy orange with lasting almost white head.
Very fruityy for a weissbier. Not so spicy but more fruity. Very creamy as usual with Bøgedal. Fantastic weisse.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Vinmonopolet in Valkendorfsgate, Bergen, shared by BBGTC. With a great big BOOM the beer comes to life as the cork sets off like a rocket, making us look with concern to the ceiling where it hit, halfway expecting to see a hole or at least a dint. Still, no gusher so it’s all good, but BE WARNED! (I’ve heard and seen several others with the same story). The beer pours a hazy, near-murky honey-hued orange body with a huge white head. Aroma is ripe banana sweetness, wheat, grains, honey and hints of citrus. Pretty mellow. Taste is sweet grainy banana tones, hints of clove and coriander. This beer has a bit of a hefeweizen and a bit of wit, so someone jokingly concluded this was a beer with a Luxembourg profile, some place where Belgium meets Germany! :-P Full bodied, and a quite nice wheat all in all.

Bottle at home. What a pressure! The wooden cork almost killed me, but instead the light bulb above me. This results in a big frothy white head. A hazy deep orange beer. Grainy malt in the nose and fruity aromas with citrus, yeast and hint of alcohol. Sweet fruity malt flavours with some yeast and hint of orange and spices, coriander. A taste of alcohol is also present. Light bitterness, slightly sour, and feels somewhat dry in the end. Slick mouthfeel. Fresh and rich taste at the same time. Maybe too much alcohol in the taste but a pretty okay beer,
